So this blog became really out of date...

Hey everyone,

Yes I kind of dropped off the face of the earth for a bit with this blog. I apologize, I know a bunch of people have been asking about it. Truth of the matter is last term just got so incredibly hectic I only really had time for the essentials so this got pushed to the backburner. Between full-time work, my assignments, freelance, and taking care of Webby throughout the semester it has been pretty rough.

Last semester was trying and I definitely did not have as much time for my assignments as I wanted (of course). My grades point wise could have allowed me to pass through to the next class, but after speaking with my mentor and thinking about it, I opted to retake Class 1. It was a tough decision, but I felt that if I didn't have a solid grip on the foundations, the rest of school would be downhill from here and that wouldn't do any good.

So I was fine with my decision until class started up again, when everyone was greeting me as if I was there for the first time, etc. It was a little depressing, I had a bit of a time trying to tell myself that I wasn't a failure, that I was doing the right thing. But I think I finally got over it.

I decided this time around I'd totally just be a goof, so I have a different crazy hat I wear each week for the Q&A. So far I've had: Viking, huge stovepipe colorful, mad hatter, and computer pirate hats. Last term I tested it out with my octopus and santa hat.

So here is my progress reel from Class 1 the first time around, these are all my revised shots and still poses. It goes in reverse shot order from latest to earliest, same with the stills.

The shots are:

Stylized walk, Vanilla walk, Tailor, Pendulum, Obstacle Course w/Squash & Stretch, Heavy/Light Ball, Bouncing Ball.

Stills:

Balance, Exhausted, Concerned, Strength, Devastated, Excitement, and from observation.
